We are settling in well in Salisbury, MD. Chris is starting to enjoy his job a little more. We'll see if he feels the same way after this weekend as he has been on call and we haven't seen him since 7:30 this morning!
We think we've found a church that we'll be attending, it's nice and close to our house which is an added bonus. We've met a couple of the neighbors and everyone seems very nice.
My family was here to visit a couple of weeks ago as a lot of you probably knew. We had a great time here and then Shelley, Tristan and I were able to join Mum and Dad at Smith Mountain Lake for a fairly relaxing weekend, well as relaxing as it can be with Tristan to keep an eye on!
We don't have a lot planned at the moment, probably a visit from Chris's parents and then Tristan and I are taking a trip to Rochester later in August. We are flying as we couldn't pass up a direct flight for $118! Also, after a fairly long car ride to Smith Mountain Lake I am in no hurry to repeat that again with Tristan for a while!
Well, I shall see if I can figure out how to post pictures and then I should really get back to my laundry now that our power has been restored after a rough thunderstorm that seems to be lingering a little longer than I'd like it to. I am not a huge fan of thunder and lightening, especially when I'm home without Chris!
If this blogging thing is as easy as they claim, you can expect to see more frequent updates!

I think that must be about the cutest sleeping baby I have ever seen. Hope Chris has recovered from his very long shift
