Here's how Christmas was for us...
Tristan leaving milk and cookies for Santa. Santa did eat them and thought that they were very tasty! Growing up we always used to leave a glass of sherry for Santa, I'm not sure what that says about me and my family, but we've decided to go with milk!
Tristan opening his stocking
After he opened the stocking presents that Santa left we had Christmas pancakes, which are just like regular pancakes but with red and green sugars on them. I think that Tristan ate 7-8 small ones! I guess Christmas takes a lot of energy for a 2 year old!
After breakfast we got dressed and opened the other presents
Then Tristan and Daddy made a new track with his new train pieces
Hayden apparently loves Christmas already!
When Hayden woke up from his morning nap, Tristan was more than happy to open his presents for him!
Then it was time for Christmas PB & J for lunch. This is just like regular PB & J just cut into Christmas shapes with cookie cutters!
At dinner time Tristan was a little reluctant to wear the hat out of his cracker, but we tried to get a few pictures anyway!
They both got whistles in their crackers!
Apparently Christmas is exhausting for babies! This is the first time Hayden has just fallen asleep like that! Notice that he's in a new outfit. I think that it must be in the baby's handbook that they are supposed to poop on every special occasion outfit! His "Baby's First Christmas" outfit didn't even make it to lunch-time!
The rest of the day was spent playing with new toys and books while I did Christmas laundry. This is just like regular laundry except... well, no, I take that back, it's actually no different from regular laundry!

Cute pics. I love the Christmas PB&J. You are so creative! ahhh, don't you just love poop!
don't you have a picture of Tristan sleeping when he should be working out in the Gym?
I was fortunate enough to be able to contact Santa regarding your mention of the sherry that you left for him on Christmas Eve when you were a child. He was able to confirm that not only did you leave a glass of sherry but also a delicoius home made mince pie and a carrot. The mince pie he always ate himself, but he took the sherry home for Mrs. Claus back at the North Pole and he always took the carrot back for Rudolph as consolation for not being allowed to pull the sleigh with the other reindeer- except of course that one foggy Christmas Eve when Rudolph proudly galloped in front to guide the sleigh. This event has, I believe, gone down in history although no mention is made of the kind children who left the carrot each year.
