Old Friends and New Friends

Over the Labor Day weekend we travelled to my parents' house in Virginia. On the way there and way back we were able to stop and see a couple of my friends from college who now have kids. It was the first time we had met each other's kids and the first time we had seen each other in a long time!

On the way there we stopped at Stefanie's house and Tristan and Hayden got to meet 2 new friends, Amelia and William. Amelia is only 10m days younger than Tristan and William is a couple of months younger than Hayden. It was a perfect stop to take a break and play with new toys! Stef and I had not seen each other since her wedding 8years ago! Thanks to Facebook, we talk often now!

On the way back we stopped at the mall in Charlottesville, VA and met up with Jenny. She has a son, Noah, who is a couple of months older than Tristan and they had a great time playing at the play-place once Tristan got over his shyness! We took a few blurry photos and then were told by 'mall cop' that we aren't allowed to take pictures in the mall and that it has not been allowed "ever since nine eleven" We are not sure what happens when you take photos of children playing that has anything to do with it, but we wen outside and took some more, assuming that was OK!
