A weekend in PA

This weekend we went to visit Grammie and Grandpa in PA. Leaving last on Friday seemed a good idea at the time but the kids did not fall immediately asleep in the car like we thought they would! Tristan had a mini meltdown and we had to pull over so he could have a hug and then he was perfectly happy to go right to sleep! Hayden, who's normal bed-time is 6:30, was quite happy to sit in the car pointing out and naming the cars and trucks as they went by and he was awake until almost 9pm doing so! Kids! You just never know what they will do!

We had a good weekend though. I am glad that I unpacked the shorts and threw in more long pants because it was a cool weekend. It wasn't rainy so that was good but it certainly wasn't shorts weather. That's OK, we are supposed to have 70 degrees from Thursday though the weekend.

On Saturday we went to the Public Museum in Reading because they had a Bob the Builder exhibit. There was a lot of hands on things to do and the boys loved it.

After we checked out the Bob exhibit we were walking around looking at the rest of the museum. Mr. 'I can do it myself' also know as Hayden was determined that he would climb up the marble steps resulting in a bloody nose from bashing his face when he was going too fast. So, we had to promptly remove him from the museum and distract him with some ducks which worked well. He was fine and not even that upset by the whole ordeal!

And to end the weekend Daddy and Grandpa spoiled Tristan with a white chocolate Train!
