Labor Day at the beach

Well, the one day we had planned to go to the beach while my family was the day that we got all that awful, terrifying and treacherous drizzle from Hurricane Earl! So we went to the outlets that day and apparently everyone else had the same idea!

So, we decided to battle the crowds and go on a Holiday weekend! I'm glad we did because it was no busier than a regular weekend, we got to park nice and close to the beach and there were no traffic delays! Perfect! To top it all off there were some fun waves as a result of the hurricane. Nothing I'd want to swim in, but fun to jump in anyway. The boys got knocked over a time or two but they had a good time.

Getting a taste of the waves

Grandad builds his famous car but of course he won't be able to finish it with these boys around!

Tristan was insisting he wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel. He LOVED it. Next time we will know not to take Hayden, he wanted to get down, he was ready to jump off the side so we had to hold him tightly which he hated even more!
