Alphabooks
Tristan got these "Alphabooks" as a gift from our friend Carly. We actually got them as a shower gift before he was even born. They are one of his favorite things to look at. I often notice that it's very quiet and so I go to see what kind of trouble he might be getting into and then I'm pleasantly surprised to find him reading these! He loves to look at the pictures in them.

Don't you just love that he loves to read? Both our boys love books, and I will often find them doing just that when I expect I'll find them up to naughtiness! I have a friend who absolutely dreaded having a boy after her girl b/c the only boys she knew were just wild-running, jumping, yelling all the time. Not that our boys don't do that too, but they do have enough quiet moments to keep me sane! (And being around Andrew and Jacob took away her fears of having a boy)! :)
