Potato Stamp painting

I Love doing crafty things with Tristan. Today I decided to make stamps out of potatoes and teach him the art of painting!

First you cut potatoes in half and then cut the shapes out of the flat side. It takes a bit of practice but isn't too hard. I also used the cut end of a bunch of celery. We had wings, celery and blue cheese yesterday for the Superbowl, so that was what made me decide on this as an activity for today!

Then dip them in different colors of paint

Them make a mess with your child!

Tristan had a great time. Here are some of his masterpieces!

Hayden, of course, woke up as soon as we were all covered in paint! So, we cut the project a little short. Maybe we'll do some more tomorrow!
