Well, I'm all caught up on pictures! What's new in other news you may be asking? Well, if you're not, I'm going to tell you anyway since I'm sitting up waiting for Chris to come home and I'm certain I'll need to feed Hayden again soon, so why go to bed!? Poor Chris has been on call and at the hospital since 7am and it's just about midnight now. I guess the nice weather brought out all the idiots who then had accidents of some kind and got injured...
So, other news...
Hayden is a pro at taking a bottle! I have been giving him one a night so that he gets good practice! I want him to be really good at it for Daddy and to realize that it's the same, just different!
He also went to sleep un-swaddled all by himself for his afternoon nap both today and yesterday! It's a huge accomplishment and one that I hope he keeps up! I was hoping to get him to start doing it at bed-time too so that when I go to work it's not so bad for Chris. So, we tried it tonight and he wanted no parts of it! He didn't really cry, but I could tell he wasn't going to sleep. So, we'll keep trying.
I guess those are my only 2 exciting pieces of news. We are going to look at another house tomorrow. We'll see what happens, I guess. The whole process is getting a bit frustrating and stressful. We are still none the wiser about the first house that we offered on. There is still a chance that we may get it but not enough of a chance that we feel we should stop looking. SO, keep us in your prayers if you think of it.
I really think I should make an effort to go to bed now. But, without fail, no matter what time it is or how long Hayden has been asleep, he ALWAYS wakes up within 30 minutes of me going in the room to sleep! I think he has an over-sensitive nose and smells me a mile off! I had planned to be sleeping back in our room by now but our new (supposed to be great) baby monitor does not work on my bedside table! It works everywhere else in the house but our room. Isn't that awful? We think that it might be the interference from the air handling unit that is outside our bedroom window! So, since it's not working, I am still sleeping in the twin bed in Hayden's room! Oh well, they are only little for such a short time so it's all worth it.
Time is flying, I can't believe Hayden will be 5 months old this week! Yikes!
