Tristan just came out of his room with his sandals and a grin on and we just had this conversation:
Me: Wow! Look at you. Did you put those on yourself?
Tristan: Yeah
Me: Aren't you looking proud of yourself?
Tristan: little giggle
Me: You're a smart cookie!
Tristan: lets out a huge laugh and says "No! I'm not a cookie, I'm Tristan"

haha - that's too cute! connor often does the same thing. if i ever call him by a different name or something silly, he always, "I'm Connor!" i guess they think we forget their names!
