Grandma's memorial service was really hard but really nice. There were so many people there. It was a great celebration of a beautiful woman. Tristan was a gem who sat quietly through the whole service and if you've ever seen him in church, you'll know that's impressive! As we were walking out of the church behind the casket he said a loud "bye" to everyone which was so sweet and broke the mood a little too!
He travelled well on the way home, despite my fears that it was a daytime flight! He even took a short nap when we took off. When we got in the car at BWI he slept all the way home. We got home around 8pm. Chris was on call but thankfully he was home when we got there. I got some beautiful flowers too. Tristan had a snack with Daddy and was asleep around 9pm! I was really worried that he'd be so off with the time change that he's be awake at 3am. It's after 8am and now and he's still soundly sleeping. I even snuck in to snap a picture of how sleepy he is this morning!
We had another answered prayer at BWI. I had lost my long-term parking pass somewhere between the plane and getting to the car. Of course I didn't notice until I got in the car to leave! After much frustration, checking with the British Airways staff, calling the airport, checking at the information desk etc and not knowing what to do I was waiting in the baggage claim area and talking to Dad on the phone. I was getting ready to just go without it and pay whatever the maximum fee was going to be and then I looked down and there it was on the floor at my feet! This was more than an hour after we had left the area and come back.
I will post some more pictures soon of our fun adventures while we were there. But for now I think I'm going to wake up Tristan, or should I just let him sleep?!

Wow he was so good! Are you sure you didn't slip him some benadryl?
