Update

So, Thanks so much for all the prayers, I know there must have been a lot of them! We arrived safely in London and everything regarding the travel went very smoothly. it took us a lot less time to drive to BWI, get parking and check in than we had anticipated! So, this meant that we had a lot of time to kill at the gate! At least it wasn't the other way around, we at least had time to stop and eat an overpriced pizza at the airport!

Tristan was really good on the plane. Although he didn't fall asleep until about 11:30 pm US time! He slept on me rather fitfully as he didn't have a seat and then he woke up about 4 hours later when the cabin lights came on to serve us breakfast, in which he had no interest!

The business man that was seated next to us was great! I was really worried that he wouldn't deal well with Tristan and would be irritated but he was so nice, he even wanted to help me amuse Tristan.

I think that the worst part of the travel was when we arrived at the gate. They sent a shuttle bus to pick us up and take us to the terminal. So, I had to carry 2 bags, a heavy Tristan and a stroller onto the bus. Of course we were one of the last to board so it was standing room only! Luckily it was a short ride so we managed.

Mum, Dad and Shelley met us and we got the rental car. Tristan was exhausted. He slept all the way from the Airport to our destination, about an hour or so away.

Since we have been here he has been amazingly good and has adapted so well. He has even slept through most of the nights. I'm trying to keep him up late here so that it will be less of a change to adapt to on the way back, but we'll see how that theory pans out...

So, thanks again for all your prayers. Keep them coming as we fly home on Thursday June 5th. It is a day flight so no hope of Tristan sleeping then. I'll have to keep him amused for about 7 hours in 1 seat... I'll let you know what a joy that is.

Here is a shot of the jet lagged baby...
