Not a good start to a new year

We are all sick! In fact we were in bed before 10 pm on New Years Eve. Tristan went first around 8pm, closely followed by Hayden around 8:30pm (a great new habit that he has). Daddy went to bed by 9pm or so and Mummy was in bed at about 10pm! What a lively bunch. Tristan is never sick, in fact this was the first time that he's actually thrown up. He didn't really know what was going on and kept asking "What happened?" He was, of course, mostly concerned that I clean it up right away! That kids does not like dirt or messes, except of course the mess of leaving toys laying around! I guess to him that's just play and not a mess.

Here he is this morning laying on the couch, I let him watch a movie since he had no energy anyway!



Hayden is the only one not sick! But, he still likes to sleep. I'm sure he will be the healthiest one of the family this winter since he's such a good nurser!



This is him most mornings! He sleeps fine with his arms out if he's in bed with me, I just can't get him to fall asleep with his arms out, he still wants to be swaddled just like Tristan did. I'm hoping he'll give it up before 7 months (which is as long as we did it for Tristan, maybe longer...) The other place he falls asleep un-swaddled is in the baby gym, that has become a regular morning occurrence!

We tried him in the Bumbo seat to see how he likes it. He seems to like it but needs a little more work on the holding up the head part! I think he'll be better at that in a few weeks!




Tristan also like to sit in the Bumbo, yes his skinny little behind still fits in there!
