Anyway, once it was cleared, we dumped out the pieces to the police station and got to work on our newly cleared space!
We were able to put together the police station in no time at all! Here is the finished product:
We now have a nicely cleared and organized table with all the pieces sorted and ready to build whatever they want to next! We'll see how long that lasts! The only other thing I need to do is help them take apart some of the sets that are put together so they have something to build!

I'd love to know how you organize their Legos!
Allyson, I would love to show you! We still need to have you over :) We sort them by like kinds. I use the snapware stacking tubs so they are easy to put back away on the shelves and easy to stack and unstack on the tables when you're looking for a piece (and also because I have coupons for them all the time). I will say we have a LOT of Lego! So, we have a bin for wheels, windows and car parts, one for large specials, one for small specials, one for flats, one for regular bricks, one for slim bricks, one for people/accessories and then a bunch of smaller ones for the teeny tiny pieces! We'd love to have you over for dinner and to play Legos soon!
